About Colleen Canale Levy
A native of New Orleans—a city steeped in French tradition and culture—Colleen’s appreciation for wine began early. Her father, a passionate collector of Burgundy and Bordeaux since the 1970s, introduced her to the nuances of aroma and taste through countless blind tastings at home. Those early experiences instilled a curiosity and respect for the craftsmanship behind great wines.
After college, Colleen followed in her father’s footsteps, spending the 1989 harvest in France with family friends—the same family he had worked for during the 1961 vintage, the Sigaut family in Chambolle-Musigny. Two years later, while interning at Becky Wasserman’s wine export company, she met her future husband, Scott.
While Scott built his career in the wine trade, Colleen pursued her own path in marketing, building a 30-year career at BellSouth and Cox Communications. Following her early retirement from Cox in 2025, she joined Scott Levy Selections as Head of Marketing, combining her professional expertise with her lifelong passion for French wine. Today, she leads the company’s brand and communications efforts, dedicated to connecting both wine experts and newcomers to the stories, people, and places that have inspired her and Scott—helping others discover and appreciate the beauty and depth of great wine.
